Create pictures for future

Rhonda Byrne says:  "Neville recommends at the end of every day, before you go to sleep, to think through the events of the day. If any events or moments did not go the way you wanted, replay them in your mind in a way that thrills you. As you recreate those events in your mind exactly as you want, you are cleaning up your frequency from the day and you are emitting a new signal and frequency for tomorrow. You have intentionally created new picture for your future. It is never too late to change the pictures."

Happiness

Rhonda Byrne says:  "If you have been living your life saying to yourself, “I will be happy when I have a better house,” “I will be happy when I get a job or promotion,” “I will be happy when the kids are through college,” “I will be happy when we have more money,” “I will be happy when I can travel,” or “I will be happy when my business is a success,” you will never have those things because your thoughts are defying the way love works. They’re defying the law of attraction. You have to be happy first, and give happiness, to receive happy things! It can’t happen any other way, because whatever you want to receive in life, you must give first! You are in command of your feelings, you are in command of your love, and the force of love will give back to you whatever you give out."

Life view

Paulo Coelho says: "I can choose either to be a victim of the world or an adventurer in search of treasure. It's all a question of how I view my life" "People are capable, at any time in their lives, of doing what they dream of."

Brakes

Someone asked, "Why do we have brakes in a car" Many answers were provided like "to stop", "to reduce speed" , "avoid collision" etc., but the best I found was, "To allow you to drive faster" Give it a thought. It's true but seldom appreciated. It's because we have brakes that we can dare to accelerate, dare to go fast and reach destinations we desire. At various points in life, we found our parents, teachers, mentors, friends and spouse etc. questioning your progress, direction or decision. But remember it's because of them that you are where you are today. Learn to appreciate the 'brakes' in your life.

Still humanity continues

Something that touched my heart:--- On my way I found a piece of paper tied to an electric pole, with a small note on it. I was curious to know what was written, hence went closer and read it. "I lost Rs. 50 somewhere on the road. If any of you find it, please give it to me at this address. My vision isn't great so please help" I was urged to follow that address and found an old hut in shatters with an older woman sitting outside. She was frail and asked who is that, following my footsteps. I said I came by this way, found Rs. 50 on the road so wanted to handover to you. She began crying on hearing this. She said "my dear I have had atleast 30-40 people come over and give me Rs. 50 saying that they have found it on the road. I dint write that note, I cannot even see properly nor do I know to read and write" I said it's OK amma you keep it. *She asked me to tear that note off on my way back.* I walked back with a million thoughts as to who could...

Spiritual story

"An Afternoon In the Park" -------------------- "There once was a little boy who wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack of root beer and he started his journey. When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her a Twinkie. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Once again she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word. As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave, but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman an...

Spiritual story by Paulo coelho

"The Ancestor's Bones" -------------------- "There was a king of Spain who was very proud of his ancestors, and who was known for his cruelty to the weak. One time, he was walking with his advisers across a field in Aragon, where - years before - he had lost his father during a battle, when he found a holy man searching a large pile of bones. " What are you doing there?" - asked the king. "Honored greetings, Your Majesty," said the holy man. "When I heard that the king of Spain was coming this way, I resolved to recover the bones of your late father and present them to you. But however hard I search, I cannot find them: They are exactly the same as the bones of country folk, the poor, beggars and slaves.""

Magical two words

Rhonda Byrne says: "There are two words that, when spoken, have the most unfathomable power to completely change your life. Two words which, when they pass your lips, will be the cause of bringing absolute joy and happiness to you. Two words that will create miracles in your life. Two words that will wipe out negativity. Two words that will bring you abundance in all things. Two words which, when uttered and sincerely felt, will summon all the forces and vibrations in the Universe to move all things for you. The only thing standing between you, happiness, and the life of your dreams is two words THANK YOU!"

Bicycle story

Zen Story: "A Zen Teacher saw five of his students return from the market, riding their bicycles. When they had dismounted, the teacher asked the students,“Why are you riding your bicycles?” The first student replied, “The bicycle is carrying this sack of potatoes. I am glad that I do not have to carry them on my back!” The teacher praised the student, saying, “You are a smart boy. When you grow old, you will not walk hunched over, as I do.” The second student replied, “I love to watch the trees and fields pass by as I roll down the path.” The teacher commended the student, “Your eyes are open and you see the world.” The third student replied, “When I ride my bicycle, I am content to chant, nam myoho renge kyo.”The teacher gave praise to the third student, “Your mind will roll with the ease of a newly trued wheel.” The fourth student answered, “Riding my bicycle, I live in harmony with all beings.” The teacher was pleased and said, “You are riding on the golden path of ...

Self analysis

Paramahansa Yogananda says : "Millions of people never analyze themselves. Mentally they are mechanical products of the factory of their environment, preoccupied with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, working and sleeping, and going here and there to be entertained. They don't know what or why they are seeking, nor why they never realize complete happiness and lasting satisfaction. By evading self-analysis, people go on being robots, conditioned by their environment. True self-analysis is the greatest art of progress."

The supreme God

Albert Einstein Says: "Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe-a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble."

Right and wrong

Paulo Coelho says: "Nothing in the world is ever completely wrong. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day."

Push yourself

Charlotte Eriksson says : "It's about personal development. It's about creating your own character and pushing it to the limit. It's about pushing yourself so far out of your own and everybody else's idea of who you are and what you're capable of, that you no longer believe in limits. It's about reaching beyond your so-called potential, because your potential is never where you or anyone else expects it to be, not even close. It's about being able to say with the last breath of your life “I used all my potential and all my talents and pushed myself to the limit. I could not have fought any harder."

Beware of dream stealers😉

I have a friend named Monty Roberts who owns a horse ranch in San Ysidro. He has let me use his house to put on fund-raising events to raise money for youth at risk programs. The last time I was there he introduced me by saying: “I want to tell you why I let Jack use my horse. It all goes back to a story about a young man who was the son of an itinerant horse trainer who would go from stable to stable, race track to race track, farm to farm and ranch to ranch, training horses. As a result, the boy’s high school career was continually interrupted. When he was a senior, he was asked to write a paper about what he wanted to be and do when he grew up.” “That night he wrote a seven-page paper describing his goal of someday owning a horse ranch. He wrote about his dream in great detail and he even drew a diagram of a 200-acre ranch, showing the location of all the buildings, the stables and the track. Then he drew a detailed floor plan for a 4,000-square-foot hous...

God provides!!!!

Once upon a time there was a very generous King. He was known for his kindness. Every day two beggars would visit the king. One was old and other was a very young man. When the king gave alms to the older man, the latter would always say, "God provides!" The younger beggar other hand said, "Our King provides!" when given alms by the king. The King got irritated and thought, "The older one keeps saying 'God provides! God provides!' when it is I who give him food!" The next day, he told them to walk down an abandoned lane, one by one, where he had placed a purse filled with gold. He asked the younger man to go first. "Surely when he finds the gold, the other will realize it is I who provides," reasoned the King. The man walked down wondering why the King had sent him here. "Perhaps he wants me to enjoy the peace of this beautiful road. I should walk down it with my eyes closed!" As he did so, he missed the purse of gold on...

Legend story

A LETTER FROM A GIRL TO JRD TATA IN 1974 Worth reading...This is the stuff legends are made of. It was April of 1974. I was the only girl in my postgraduate department and was staying at the ladies' hostel. Other girls were pursuing research in different departments of Science. I was looking forward to going abroad to complete a doctorate in computer science. I had been offered scholarships from Universities in the US... I had not thought of taking up a job in India. While on the way to my hostel from our lecture-hall complex, I saw an advertisement on the notice board. It was a standard job requirement notice from the automobile company Telco (Tata Motors). It stated that the company required young, bright engineers, hardworking and with an excellent academic background, etc. At the bottom was a small line: 'Lady Candidates need not apply.' I read it and was very upset. For the first time in my life I was up against gender discrimination. Though I was not keen...

Stop worrying about Goat No. 3

It all started one lazy Sunday afternoon in a small town near Toronto in Canada. Two school-going friends had a crazy idea. They rounded up three goats from the neighborhood and painted the numbers 1, 2 and 4 on their sides. That night they let the goats loose inside their school building. The next morning, when the authorities entered the school, they could smell something was wrong. They soon saw goat droppings on the stairs and near the entrance and realized that some goats had entered the building. A search was immediately launched and very soon, the three goats were found. But the authorities were worried, where was goat No. 3? They spent the rest of the day looking for goat No.3. The school declared classes off for the students for the rest of the day. The teachers, helpers, guards, canteen staffs, boys were all busy looking for the goat No. 3, which, of course, was never found. Simply because ………… it did not exist. Those among us who, in spite of having a good life a...
